    Daniel Schenkel - President/ CEO

    Daniel joined the CHF team in 2006.  Dan has been instrumental in the role of overseeing the construction and renovation of the homes purchased by CHF.  In addition, his analytical skills help CHF maintain control of project costs and achieve desired timelines. He holds a Masters Degree in Global Business Administration from the University of Redlands, and a Bachelor’s Degree from Calvin College in Michigan.

  • Business Manager

    Kristin Elgersma - Business Manager

    Kristin serves as the Business Manager for CHF.  Prior to coming to CHF, she worked in education, teaching lower elementary grades and running an elementary school library. She has enjoyed transitioning to the work of CHF and the non-profit sector. She became a member of the office staff part time in 2012 and moved to full-time in 2020. Kristin and her husband have three adult-age children, a wonderful son-in-law and two adorable grandsons.

  • Regional Property Specialist

    Larry Guyer - Regional Property Specialist

    Larry brings many years of contracting and building experience to CHF. His expertise comes from owning a local door company along with his involvement in many construction projects over his career. One of his bigger projects was supervising the building of the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino. His eye for detail is appreciated as it helps make sure our homes will continue to be in service for many years. Larry enjoys spending time at the beach on his boat and used to be an avid surfer.
