Dignity.

We stand for the inherent dignity in everyone’s life. Our focus is to help people with developmental disabilities live to their full potential.

We’re here to help

CHF supports the mission of the California Regional Centers by providing quality services and support programs designed to encourage and enable persons with a developmental disability to achieve their highest possible level of personal independence, choice, and productivity.

Our Partners

Our partners are a network of people and organizations dedicated to helping people with disabilities live their best lives.

Regional Centers

California Regional Centers are private, non-profit corporations working under contracts with the State of California, Department of Developmental Services, to provide services to persons with a developmental disability pursuant to the Lanterman Act.

Service Care Providers

Care providers at Adult Residential Care Facilities are responsible for providing services to individuals with developmental and other co-occurring disabilities, allowing them to maintain independence and continue to receive nursing level care as needed. The care providers at the residences work to ensure participants receive individualized care in a homelike and community setting.

Our Impact

25+

Years serving consumers and families

CHF was founded in 1998 with a vision to support the important work of California’s Regional Centers.

70+

Homes built for consumers

One of our first and primary objectives was to build a permanent stock of homes to encourage and enable people with developmental disabilities to achieve their highest possible level of personal independence, choice, and productivity.

275+

Residents in Homes

Our homes provide high level licensed care to people with developmental disabilities throughout California. CHF homes are designed to meet the needs of consumers who seek to live to their highest level of personal independence and productivity.

“CHF collaborated with us because they believe in providing services to people with developmental disabilities.”
